In May, our family of five, all adults, took the best Italy tour from Milan to Rome. We visited Milan, Padua, Venice, Florence, the Tuscan countryside, Siena, Assisi, Cascia, Rome, and the Vatican. The tour was wonderful and well organized, thanks to our terrific Zicasso travel advisor. She was always available for questions and went out of her way to ensure all of our wants were accommodated in the trip plans.

The itinerary was well-thought out and we loved each of the destinations and the individual tour guides who educated us at the sites. They were thoughtful, informative, and interesting. Kudos to our agent for her excellent choices.

The hotels were also very good. We really liked the Tuscany hotel and would return there on our own. All of the hotels were well-located, which made for ease of getting around and walking the cities.

Our days were split between touring and having free time, which allowed us to explore on our own and spend time as a family. This schedule was perfect for us!

I would highly recommend this trip itinerary to anyone interested in seeing the north of Italy. Our agent did an amazing job attending to the details of the travel so we did not have to and providing special opportunities we would not have had on our own without a lot of hassles. We are definitely booking our next trips with her as she went above and beyond what we expected in her attention to us and our enjoyment of the trip!

Once we were in Italy, she and her team were always available by phone to help with any problems that arose. The guides she hired were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. For instance, on an excursion to an archeological site, our guide was not only an archaeologist, but had actually participated in a dig at that site. We couldn't have asked for more.

The trip was a dream come true and the company was an absolute pleasure to work with. They made everything so simple and much less stressful for us right from the planning stage, to prepping us for the trip and then support DURING the trip. This was a dream trip for us to take our kids on and Nancy and Diana and their team made it all come together so beautifully !!

Our trip was such a beautiful, seamless experience. All transfers between trains, planes, and hotels were coordinated, making our travels to various cities simple. The three hotels were a good fit for our family. The tour guides and experiences that were scheduled were fantastic. The staff at Zicasso’s travel company were very professional and provided recommendations. They even provided recommendations for "free time" and places to eat. Everything worked well – all drivers and tour guides were professional and on time. We would use this company again. We felt like we were part of the rich and famous with the wonderful service they provided, from the airport pick-up in Rome to the pick-up from Ischia to the train station and to the Civitavecchia port.

We did this trip many years ago, from Rome to Naples by train, hydrofoil to Ischia, and back to Rome. This time it was easier. They took the stress out of trying to get from place to place.

Our trip started out on a negative note with a delayed luggage issue that was not the fault of the tour company, but still caused some stress. Airline delays have made all of our travel this year uncomfortable.

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, so we are not young, but are pretty fit and capable for our ages. If I had it to do over, I would have relaxed the pace a bit. That being said, all our drivers and guides were personable, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The tours were interesting, although the ones on Sicily were a little redundant since they were all based on the history of multiple conquerors and cultures.

The schedules were all on time and never rushed.

Our Zicasso agent was great and even called to check on Ruth when she heard she took a fall at Pompeii.
