My recent trip to Italy was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, the Zicasso travel company made everything seamless and enjoyable. They arranged all the details with precision so I could fully immerse myself in the experience. Our accommodations were comfortable and conveniently located, which made it easy to explore the beautiful cities of Florence, Venice, and several others. The local guides were knowledgeable and added so much depth to the history and culture of each place we visited.

The company was attentive and responsive to any questions, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. I’d highly recommend them for anyone looking to explore Italy stress-free!

The responsiveness as we were planning the trip was excellent. This was true in accessibility as well as listening to and crafting an itinerary that met and exceeded our wishes.

Given our interests, we had the unique opportunity to go to two artist studios and to have a wonderful picnic in the vineyard following a lovely wine tasting.

Logistics went completely smoothly, which was quite helpful and impressive… every driver and tour guide was on time and ready to accommodate. Our guides were mostly excellent: knowledgeable, with good and clear English, flexible, and enthusiastic, and our tour operator came to our rescue on our last day. We had a plane to catch in Rome to come home, but the trains from Florence to Rome were slowed or canceled. We were supposed to be on one of those trains. He worked through options with us and then made the chosen solution happen. We had one guide in Rome who was the exception – more rote and difficult to understand.

As we got closer to the trip, we found the company less accessible. This time was stressful for us. And perhaps we did not signal how important good food was to us. In retrospect, we would have appreciated planning/reservations for restaurants of the quality of the rest of the trip.

All in all, this was a wonderful trip and we were extremely well served working with and through this travel company. We would definitely work with them again.

My husband and I recently traveled to Italy for the first time. We wanted it to be a trip of a lifetime with as little stress as possible. We wanted to stay in beautiful hotels close to everything as my husband has some physical limitations. We wanted it to be comparable in price to other tours we were researching.

We wanted a lot.

I learned about our travel company from a Zicasso ad in the New York Times. We feel so lucky to have found this incredible company. They were able to, literally, check all of our boxes and give us everything we wanted and needed for our beautiful trip.

Preplanning was key. The personalized collaborative planning started with a personal conversation with the owner on Zoom. He collected much information about our interests, goals for the trip, physical needs, and budgetary constraints. His team then created a beautiful itinerary, with many choices of hotels and VIP tours. It was so much fun to do research and make the choices that began to shape our once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Our travel concierge offered advice and recommendations, and answered the many questions we had throughout the planning process, until we came up with our final itinerary. Designing a trip with an expert in the field was fun and well worth it!!

Once in Italy, the attention to every detail made our experience simply extraordinary. From the moment we got off the plane, we were seamlessly guided and transported throughout the week by drivers and guides. We never had to worry about how we would get anywhere, which enabled us to fully focus our attention on all the beautiful locations and culture of Italy.

Choosing some guided tours was well worth it too. There is so much history and culture in Italy it is mind boggling. Our guides were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend going to the Vatican in Rome, Orvieto in Tuscany, and Pompeii in Sorrento.

We highly recommend our travel company to anyone who plans to go to Italy. Just one more question for our agent. Now that we have fallen in love with Italy, where to next?

This travel company was incredible and is a highly recommended company, as is Zicasso.

First of all, Zicasso finds out what you want and then provides you with several provider options. I worked with two options for several weeks until it became obvious, this company and our agent were the best option for us. I have to admit, they were the highest-cost option. However, now after the trip, it was worth it.

The online itinerary/agenda app is priceless and much needed. All guides were top notch, couldn’t have been better. Drivers, the same.

The only issues we had (and you will always have issues) were minor, several were completely out of their control. The rest were resolved in a very timely manner. We have gone on many other trips, individual and group, and this company has the best customer service by far. Thank you!

Another seamless vacation through Zicasso and this travel agency! Our tour guides were excellent and our accommodations were very satisfactory. All hotels were centrally located and enabled us to walk through the various cities at our leisure. While our days were quite full, scheduling allowed for some “downtime” each day to relax in a café or on the balcony of our rooms. Our cooking experience in Rome was a culinary highlight of our trip.

We have been fortunate to have traveled throughout the world and have used agencies (including Zicasso) to help plan and assist us along the way. We can say, without hesitation, that the agent at Zicasso’s travel company is by far the best agent we have worked with. What is special about her is that she listens. Every aspect of our 18-day trip to Sicily, Matera, and Puglia was discussed in detail over the course of several weeks, until the itinerary was exactly what we wanted.

Once we were in Italy, she and her team were always available by phone to help with any problems that arose. The guides she hired were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. For instance, on an excursion to an archeological site, our guide was not only an archaeologist, but had actually participated in a dig at that site. We couldn't have asked for more.

Our Sicilian trip was a total success. We called this trip our Sicilian Sampler as we saw so much in different parts of Sicily. We would love to return. On every leg of the trip, we never encountered any problems. All the accommodations were perfectly located, so we could easily explore on our own. All our tour guides were great. We could tell that they truly loved telling us about their part of Sicily. All of their recommendations for restaurants were spot on. The best part of our trip was our driver. He truly went above and beyond to make our trip special. He was an absolute gem. He listened and researched things to make sure we got to experience Sicily as we wanted to see it.

She created the perfect itinerary. She was a great communicator, answered all my questions, and designed a premier Italian experience. She handled all the details and made sure we had everything we needed. She was accessible before, during, and after our trip. Accommodations were exceptional. Drivers and tour guides were terrific.
