Zicasso’s travel agency was amazing. Our agent sorted out the details of our 14-day trip to Greece (apart from our flights in and out of the country, which we had already arranged), and I mean all the details: accommodation, destinations, tour guides, drivers, internal flights, suggestions of where to eat, and her whole team looked after us while we were there. She listened (and responded) to what we wanted to see and do, and she made a few terrific suggestions of things we would never have known about. The itinerary she created was perfect. (I should also mention that we found our travel agency via Zicasso about three weeks before our trip, so it was all arranged last minute, which I don't recommend, but our agent made it all work.) She was lovely and our trip was amazing because of her. 

The guides she picked for us were all top-notch, the other activities (particularly the cooking classes) were conducted by spectacularly wonderful people, the drivers were fantastic (and friendly, and some were hilarious). I cannot recommend our agent and her team more highly. Do yourself a favor and contact her immediately for your trip to Greece (or, apparently, Italy, and maybe other places too? I'm not quite sure how to phrase this, but the people she works with, the people she will arrange to be part of your journey, are all outstanding, friendly, and welcoming, and also very good at what they do. You will not be disappointed. 

I wish I could give the agency more stars – 10 or 20 might start to cover it. It was the trip of a lifetime!

I have much experience with traveling and, honestly, was a little skeptical at first not knowing your company. However, you referred me to your agency and, after much communication with the agent, I was very pleased and impressed with the entire experience.

I told the agent exactly what I wanted and edited the trip a few times, and she gave me exactly what I was looking for and worked with my budget. She was patient, kind, respectful, reassuring, upfront, and honest. She communicated with me timely and efficiently.

Everything in Greece was taken care of for us – the lovely hotels, ferries, pick-ups, transfers, etc, and everyone she set us up with was equally kind and extremely helpful. Over-the-top things like the hotel preparing a breakfast to go for us and our agent’s thoughtful gifts on arrival were appreciated. I had a few questions in Greece and texted her assistant, and she got back to me right away, answering very efficiently and with such kindness.

I was equally impressed with the lengthy itinerary she prepared that laid out everything we needed to know. In addition, there was a lot of extra information on sights to see, the language, and things to do while we were there.

I also booked the air tickets with our agency and this too was a great experience (apart from jet lag!). The timing, seating, and layovers were great. The flights were stress-free and went very smoothly.

Because of our agent’s professionalism, my family enjoyed the most stress-free, smooth, fun, and memorable experiences of a lifetime! I would recommend her to anyone.

We decided to take a semi-last-minute trip to Greece, with only a month to plan. I contacted Zicasso, who put me in touch with their travel partner. Immediately, the agent reached out to me. With one phone call, he understood what type of trip we would like.

We had very specific requests based on the fact that we were taking two of our older children to Greece for the first time, as well as traveling with my 84-year-old mom, “yiayia”, who was limited in what she could do physically. We wanted to “see” history and have a bit of relaxation.

Within a week, our agent sent me an amazing Itinerary! A week in Elounda, Crete, staying in a private villa at a five-star resort! Our villa was luxury at its finest, a four-bedroom, three-bath villa with spacious rooms, a living area, full kitchen, and loft. We had our own private pool, with a semi-private beach, along with two wonderful staff to attend to our every need! Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay, with a choice of having it at our villa or at the main hotel site. We were treated like family at the villas. The staff were amazing!

Our agent also arranged two tours for us. For our tours, we were met by our private driver and private guides. Both experiences were great! We experienced the history of Crete, as well as various villages. Our drivers were considerate, keeping the car cool and comfortable, and offering us plenty of water to keep us hydrated in the heat. Our tour guides were personable and warm. Our authentic lunches were amazing!

We did not have to worry about yiayia at all as the staff took very good care of her at the villa because the tours were too physical for her. We did not want to leave Elounda. The village was nice and everyone was so warm and kind! We will absolutely return to Elounda and the hotel!

After Crete, we embarked on the next leg of our journey. Our operator arranged a flight to Athens with comfortable seats. We were picked up by our private driver who quickly became like family as we spent two days with him. The first day he drove us to Delphi, imparting knowledge along the way. Once there, we met up with our guide who was full of information about Delphi and ancient and modern Greece.

From Delphi we traveled to Meteora to spend the night before a tour of the beautiful monastery perched on high cliffs. You truly felt so close to heaven on the cliffs! Our guide was amazing and we also made friends with a nun who taught us facts about our Greek Orthodox faith that we didn’t even know! She was full of wisdom!

We then started the journey with our guide back to Athens, stopping in Thermopylae at the famous site of Leonidas and the 300. After another informative day with our guide, we arrived in Athens. We were sad to leave our new friend. He said not to say goodbye, but to see you again.

Athens was a bustling city with the best food! We spent lots of time shopping in the Plaka.

Our agent also arranged a private tour of the Acropolis Museum and the historic site. Again, mom was not able to climb to the Acropolis, but was able to sit comfortably in a café.

The next day we had to leave for home. Our operator arranged for our driver to pick us up and take us to the airport. To our delight, our driver was the same as we had before! We were happy to spend the time talking on the drive. We told him we would be back next year and expect him to be part of our journey!

Our travel agent did an amazing job arranging our trip! We could not have had a better time in Greece! We will always contact him for all of our travels to Greece!

Our agent was extremely professional and quick to communicate, offering email, phone, and WhatsApp options as a means to connect (we used all three!). She listened to our ideas and, as our wishes for the trip evolved with our own research, was flexible in updating and creating an ideal itinerary for us. It was so helpful that she was based in Crete and her knowledge of everything, from places to visit and stay to restaurants, shopping, excursions, and general information, all blended into the perfect trip. She even went beyond and advised us to add some transfers when needed. We truly felt cared about and it was comforting to know that, even while on the trip, we could reach out with questions if needed. She worked tirelessly throughout and was our hero, as the communication back and forth was a lot!

The most amazing, professional, and thoughtful thing that she did, however, was to stay in touch throughout the trip and confirm each event that we had booked with her, from transfers to ferries to hotels. It was like she was watching out for us and it gave us great comfort.

I would 100% book with our travel agency again and give our agent our thanks for a wonderful job well done! We count her as a friend now and wish her the best!

Zicasso’s travel company did an amazing job identifying locations that delivered the experience we were looking for. We were on our honeymoon and are really thankful for the trip that was put together for us.

We went to Santorini on the first part of our trip and our agent completely delivered on our request to have some privacy and a spot for ourselves while on our honeymoon – a difficult task on such a busy island. We also went to Milos, which had great beaches and a nice, laid-back atmosphere.

Our travel company found us great accommodations in both locations. They had amazing views and were close, but not too close, to attractions, etc).

They also organized all the transportation and communicated with rental car agencies, drivers/guides, ferries, etc, which all went extremely smoothly. I was grateful that they handled all the heavy lifting around the logistical portions of the trip, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the vacation.

Our travel team worked tirelessly to provide an amazing experience, within our budget.

They thought of all of the nice little details, ie, lounge access during a long layover in Athens on the way to Santorini, great hotels, and wonderful tours. We didn't make a lot of dinner reservations, preferring instead to wander, but our agent secured our dinner reservation in Naxos at a restaurant recommended by a friend's daughter, and secured a last-minute reservation for us, which provided a stunning view of the Acropolis for our last night of the trip. It was truly a memorable dinner.

The tours were all well coordinated, fun, and just what we wanted. We saw a lot in each place due to the wonderful tours we took.

Two very minor, normal travel issues throughout the trip that were probably the result of local guide miscommunications were handled easily and swiftly by our travel partners. They are not even worth mentioning, except to note that you would be well supported if help is needed while you are in Greece.

The whole process was very easy and I was so glad we picked Zicasso and, in particular, our travel agency to guide our trip. From the beginning, our agent listened to us and did not push us to book a ton of activities, so we got the perfect balance between relaxation and touring/exploring guided activities.

None of us wanted our trip to end! We thank our travel team and Zicasso for an amazing and memorable first trip to Greece.
