Our trip to Portugal was perfection! This was all thanks to our Zicasso agent, who, from the start of planning, seemed to understand what we wanted and delivered a fantastic trip. Our trip, with private drivers, tour guides, and luxury accommodations, was exactly what we hoped it would be, with a few extra-special surprises along the way.

We added some travelers during the planning process and our agent quickly accommodated the changes. While we were on the trip, she checked in with us near daily, and when we did have a question, she responded extremely rapidly, exceeding our expectations.

She wisely counseled us to do less than we were originally thinking we could in the time we had. This was absolutely the right advice as we still had a very active trip. All the partners used by the travel company were first-rate. Without question, I would use this company again and I look forward to working with our agent to plan our trip to Spain.

We booked our third trip through Zicasso. We could not have asked for a better experience than the one we have just had. Our trip to Portugal ran like clockwork.

From our pre-discussion to the last drop-off, there is nothing negative to say. The itinerary was followed and exceeded, and the hotels we stayed at were up to par and better. The guides/drivers were great, always exceeding our needs and expectations.

Our three weeks in Spain could not have been any better. Zicasso’s tour company was incomparable. From our first contact with our agent until our last, we were provided every comfort and respect. Nothing was left to chance or failed to meet or exceed our expectations. What a great trip! Zicasso’s tour operator and her people laid out everything so wonderfully! They were with us every step of the way. From great tours to fantastic restaurants to top-notch hotels, they planned all of it to perfection. They even had the trains planned, including the switch in Paris from one station to the other.

We loved our trip to Portugal. We cannot rate our agent and her travel company highly enough. Our group was three couples, 70ish, in Portugal for about two weeks. Our agent and her partner were helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient every step of the way. They were patient and responsive through several iterations of the itinerary. In the end, we concluded that we should have stuck with some of their original suggestions instead of our modifications.

We were, overall, pleased with the hotels, vehicles, and guides. During the trip, our agent or her partner responded quickly to our texts/calls. They got us tickets to specified attractions/tours that we requested and shepherded us through the Lisbon airport on departure (which was very helpful). You need to proactively ask for the tickets, but then they appear within minutes in the trip app. The app was very useful and was preloaded with a lot of useful information, although some of the prose was excessively florid. We would recommend our travel company to anyone we know who is considering a trip there.

Our trip to Portugal was fabulous, in no small part due to the efforts of our travel consultant at Zicasso’s tour company. She was not only a pleasure to work with, but really delivered a top-notch trip at a very reasonable cost. She worked with us tirelessly prior to the trip to make every detail exactly as we wanted it and to provide everything we were looking for. We traveled from Porto to the Algarve via Lisbon, and while we did some side trips we suggested, we did trips she suggested as well. All in all, a quality, informative, and fun trip!

When we began planning for this trip in early 2024, we evaluated several travel consultant companies. After reviewing each company's proposals, we selected our Zicasso travel agent to assist us in planning a very special trip to Portugal for our group of 16 travelers consisting of family and friends.

From the beginning of our process, our agent was exceptional in putting together an itinerary that would provide the mix of planned excursions/adventures and downtime that allowed each person to explore/experience each day on their own. She was always willing to talk with me when I had questions or wanted to discuss elements of our trip. Given the eight-hour time difference between us, I was greatly appreciative of her flexibility.

Each element of our itinerary was planned in specific detail and very well organized. The trip app was a fantastic tool that allowed us to keep track of our trip details on a day-by-day basis and adjust in real time as plans were updated. For example, our fado dinner show venue had a plumbing issue and could not honor our reservation. Another venue was identified, the app was updated, and not a beat was missed. The new venue was wonderful, the food was authentic Portuguese, and the entertainment was the best.

The support from our travel specialist and her team while our group was on the ground in Portugal was amazing. We were able to use the chat feature of the app to ask real-time questions and get prompt answers. The app was an invaluable and essential part of our trip's success. Everyone in our group had the app on their phones and was always aware of what was going on.

The hotels we selected with our specialist's help were top shelf in terms of location, amenities, and service. The tour guides who led our group through walking tours, food and wine tastings, visiting the Douro Valley, a Jeep tour of Madeira, and tuk-tuk tour to Monte in Madeira were all excellent, bringing their knowledge, energy, and fun to our group. They were all awesome.

The logistics of transporting a group of 16 from airports to hotels and back can be daunting. With a few hiccups along the way, the drivers were super-friendly and professional. We did have one blip related to the airport pick-up of 10 of our group when arriving late at night in Porto from the east coast. The drivers did not have the name of our group on their sign and as a result our group and the drivers kept passing one another for over 30 minutes. The staff of our hotel in Porto quickly intervened and resolved the situation. When landing in Lisbon, we did not see a driver with our group name listed. It turned out the transport company was stationed at meeting point #3, which we were not instructed about. Lisbon is a large, busy airport and it was somewhat disorganized until we made a call to the transport company and found our contact,

On our last night in Lisbon, our group discussed what some of our members called a "once-in-a-lifetime adventure.” Without a doubt, our travel team performed well above our expectations!! The hotels, restaurants, guides, drivers, and the team's support were awesome. I would definitely recommend them without any hesitation!

The trip was great and the Zicasso tour company was easy to work with. They created our dream vacation based on all the information we gave them. If we had any questions during our vacation, they were quick to respond and even checked in with us periodically to see how our travel was going.

We had two activities cancelled due to the weather and the company was quick to respond to offer alternative plans. They even recognized my wife's birthday, which was during our travels.

We have used Zicasso three times and will definitely use them again. We have also recommended this company to some friends, who have also been satisfied with the planning of their trip.
