Our journey through Istanbul and Cappadocia with Zicasso’s travel company was truly exceptional—one of those rare travel experiences where everything comes together with ease, depth, and meaning.
From the very beginning, the planning was thoughtful and responsive, and once we arrived, every detail unfolded seamlessly. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between structure and flexibility, allowing us to explore deeply, while still feeling relaxed and present in each moment.
What made this trip especially memorable were our two outstanding guides—our guides in Istanbul and our guide in Cappadocia. Their deep knowledge of history, culture, and local context brought each site to life in a way that no guidebook could. Even more impressive was their genuine enthusiasm and willingness to engage with our questions, creating rich, meaningful conversations throughout the journey.
Behind this seamless experience was an exceptional team. We would like to especially recognize the company’s owner and his trusted partner in Turkey. Their leadership, coordination, and commitment to excellence were clearly reflected in every detail of our trip.
We also want to extend our appreciation to the entire support team—the professional drivers and the airport staff who welcomed us with name signs and ensured smooth, effortless transitions from airport to hotel and between destinations. These thoughtful touches made us feel well cared for at every step of the journey.
While our hot-air balloon ride in Cappadocia was unfortunately canceled due to weather, the situation was handled with clarity and professionalism. In hindsight, it simply gives us a perfect reason to return.
If there is one thing we would do differently, it would be to stay longer.

The trip was extremely well planned and coordinated. We got to enjoy many contrasting aspects of Morocco. Everything played out exactly as planned. At no point were we left to figure things out on our own; there was always somebody available, either our exceptional driver or one of the many great guides.
We covered a lot of ground during our eight days and saw a wide diversity of incredible things, from the souks in the medina, to preparing a traditional lunch with a Berber family in the Atlas Mountains, to incredible mosques, palaces, and kasbahs, to enjoying a wine tour in the wine valley, to second-century Roman ruins, to the splendor of the Blue City, and much, much more. At the same time, we never felt rushed.
This experience was well worth it and Zicasso’s travel specialist and his team made it happen! We highly recommend using their services.

Our 10-day trip to Morocco through Zicasso’s travel company was everything we hoped for and more. Our travel specialist, his staff, and particularly our driver, met our expectations and beyond. Our accommodations, made at their suggestion, were extraordinary. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We felt truly pampered and were personally cared for from the moment we met our driver at the airport until we sadly said "goodbye."

Our trip to Morocco was superb; a memory we will have for a lifetime. We felt the final itinerary that was planned gave us a great tour of the country. Our driver was outstanding. We would do another trip to Morocco just for him and his hospitality.

We enjoyed the diverse landscapes and varying villages and cities we visited. Each area had its own personality and gave us a good educational and cultural experience. Zicasso’s travel company did a fabulous job with our accommodations in every location, as well as the wonderful meals and menus chosen for us, and the planned stops and activities on our route.

Our driver was spectacular—professional, caring, appropriately protective, and a fabulous driver. Conversation was fun, easy, interesting, and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed his company.
Local guides were amazingly knowledgeable—a much higher quality than other guides we observed.
Dinner with a local host and her husband was terrific. We recommend this experience with them.
Our riad in Morocco was five stars—a cooking class there would be amazing (also our villa in Morocco).
Our desert camp in Morocco was superb because no one else was there and it was isolated from other camps, and we were alone on our camel ride. The food was awful.

I think Zicasso’s travel specialist did a fantastic job and oversaw everything, so we felt comfortable. We had a few incidents that were not pleasant, as in Jordan, with security holding us up going in/out, as we had binoculars that were not in our checked bags. They were really snotty at the border when we were leaving.
We also had a problem in Abu Simbel when our greeter person took us to the site. The guide was late and, once he showed up, we knew he could not go into the monuments. When we came out the first time, he was nowhere to be seen. He showed up 10 minutes later. When we came out of the second monument, again he was nowhere to be seen. Then, before the departure, he disappeared again. When people tell me they will be at a certain location and they are not there, it is disturbing.
Our professional Egyptologists at the museum, pyramids, and on the Nile were all fantastic. The driver in Jordan was always on time and did a good job. The car was small and cramped, but we liked the driver and he did a good job. All went smoothly in Jordan.
We got out the day before the bombing and were in Cairo that morning, so we did not have to deal with the war. It did make us nervous being in Egypt and we left a day early, but got home safely.
Overall, the sites were amazing and it flowed pretty smoothly, but would not have done so without the travel specialist checking in with us each day, and especially after the bombing started. I have used Zicasso three or four times and will continue to do so.
