From the very beginning, Zicasso’s tour operator was very attentive to our travel desires and created the perfect plan for us. She kept us updated on the details as we planned a year in advance of our trip. Her knowledge of the hotels, restaurants, and tours available was invaluable. We are so grateful for her guidance.

Our agent planned an amazing honeymoon! It was the perfect balance of exciting activities and enough downtime to stop and soak everything in.

The hotels we stayed at were in great locations with great amenities, the guides were knowledgeable and kind, and the tours and events were at top-notch spots.

The best example of the in-depth knowledge of our agent was in her booking of hot-air balloon companies. For our hot-air balloon tour, she booked a local company. While we were the only tourists, the guide spoke good English. When it came time to land the balloons, we saw two companies with English names and all of the Americans landed in the mud and had cars get stuck. The company our travel agency booked landed in a convenient location and immediately popped up a table with sparkling wine and pastries; a game-changing end to our tour.

Our travel team was also extremely agile in the planning process, going through a variety of iterations of our trip to perfectly match my vision with her knowledge of Italy. At the end, the itinerary she provided was the only thing I ever checked, opening it once each morning and confirming what exciting events were in store for us that day.

Additionally, she and the travel team were very accommodating, helping us change driver times on the spot and providing assistance while we were in Italy.

I put together a challenging itinerary for Zicasso’s company. Both travel agencies they partnered us with gave great responses and met most of our requests, but our travel company was awarded the trip due to better pricing.

The trip and the cities we always wanted to visit exceeded our expectations. Our agents were very accommodating regarding changes/special requests and last-minute questions. They were 100% on top of things!! That was very comforting as we had never arranged a trip as complicated as this.

Our trip started out on a negative note with a delayed luggage issue that was not the fault of the tour company, but still caused some stress. Airline delays have made all of our travel this year uncomfortable.

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, so we are not young, but are pretty fit and capable for our ages. If I had it to do over, I would have relaxed the pace a bit. That being said, all our drivers and guides were personable, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The tours were interesting, although the ones on Sicily were a little redundant since they were all based on the history of multiple conquerors and cultures.

The schedules were all on time and never rushed.

Our Zicasso agent was great and even called to check on Ruth when she heard she took a fall at Pompeii.

We were a group of four 65-year-old women, college friends, traveling together for a 12-day stay in Italy. Zicasso was an excellent resource for planning and during our stay. Every aspect of our 18-day trip to Sicily, Matera, and Puglia was discussed in detail over the course of several weeks, until the itinerary was exactly what we wanted.

Once we were in Italy, she and her team were always available by phone to help with any problems that arose. The guides she hired were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. For instance, on an excursion to an archeological site, our guide was not only an archaeologist, but had actually participated in a dig at that site. We couldn't have asked for more.
