Our trip to Finland/Lapland was beyond our expectations. It was like living in a fairytale! All the activities were very well organized and tailored to our needs. Every day, we were in touch with Zicasso's travel specialist to make sure we did everything at our own pace, without missing what we had arranged together. We felt like we had a local friend who wanted to show us the best of this lovely place.

She did things that surprised us and made us feel she was dedicated to providing a really great time in Lapland. She added much more than what our itinerary included, like arranging a dinner at the Ice Hotel as a gift, a personal tour of frozen waterfalls that avoided the crowds, and an amazing dinner of Finnish delicacies beside the fire in a hut. We had the experience of a lifetime in Lapland, without having to worry about anything!

We definitely gained a new friend in Lapland and will go back. Our boutique travel agency truly respects its guests and I highly recommend them if you want to visit Lapland and experience what this place has to offer in an authentic and carefree way.

I can't say enough amazing things about working with Zicasso's travel partners! They met and exceeded all of our expectations as they helped my wife and I plan our dream honeymoon to London and Croatia in June. Our Norway experience was better than we could have imagined. We chose to visit Norway as a way to complete our "bucket-list" goal of experiencing the Northern Lights (aurora). Zicasso's travel agency helped us experience not only the aurora, but also the unique and impressive Norwegian culture and landscape. 

Our accommodations were exceptional in all three of the regions we visited. We were most impressed with the cabins in Svolvaer in the Lofoten Islands. The authentic red cabin right on the water was charming and peaceful; a perfect blend of historic and modern. 

All of our transportation was pre-planned, safe, and dependable. 

We asked the team to make dinner reservations for us in each region we visited. Our agent made excellent recommendations and the restaurants were welcoming, with delicious dining options. 

The travel app was one of the best I've ever seen. It was comprehensive, with detailed daily itineraries, weather, travel documents, maps, and more. The team was responsive to all of our communications and highly accommodating. 

Norway is a beautiful country, full of friendly and adventurous people! 

Additional highlights of the trip included dog sledding in the beautiful Reisa National Park, sea kayaking through the fjords of Lofoten Islands, the lodge on Uloya Island (which hosts royalty, apparently!), an overnight cruise through the Arctic Circle, and, of course, the aurora lights. All of this was expertly prepared by the team at the travel agency. We could not have been happier with this trip!

The trip was fantastic! We were referred to Zicasso to help us plan our trip to Scandinavia and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Zicasso’s agent and her team built a perfect 10-day itinerary, which we completed in early September. They worked with our requests and interests, and made necessary adjustments almost immediately. Every detail, from hotels to drivers, transportation between countries, guides, and excursions, were taken care of. I cannot say enough about our agent’s attention to details, quick response to emails, and assistance through the months of planning. We look forward to using the Zicasso team again.

Zicasso’s tour operators did an outstanding job of helping us plan our trip and we received great support. They were both excellent travel coordinators and knew how to provide a variety of experiences.

This was the second time I have used Zicasso to find the best tour companies, and for the second time, they definitely found one in ours. I was happy that many of the hotels and tour guides knew about our company and that it had a good reputation in Scandinavia.Most of the tour guides they recommended were very good and the accommodations they selected were perfect, a mix of unique boutique hotels along with larger European chain hotels (but not too large).

Since we took a lot of boats, trains, and buses, and drove in Sweden, it was wonderful to have someone purchase the tickets and figure out the best routes. We really appreciated it.

Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend our travel company if you are going to Scandinavian countries or Zicasso if you want to find stellar travel agents!

We had excellent communications with Zicasso’s travel companies before and during the tour. I'm happy that I didn't have to plan this trip. 

Every hotel, train travel, tour, and experience they chose for us was excellent. We appreciated having Japanese and American tour guides. We really appreciated the daily summary page and the detailed instructions in the Info pack about each excursion, including which exit to use when leaving the subway. It was handy to have the PDF version of the info pack to avoid carrying more paper on excursions and to share with my travel companions. The travel app wasn't as helpful because it didn't contain the detailed info the info pack did. 

I contacted the travel company once during the tour, on January 1, and they responded within a day. I was surprised and happy about that because it was a holiday. 

There was only one situation where the info in the info pack didn't agree with what happened. That was a change in tour guide in Kyoto, but it was okay, since we really enjoyed our guide. Well done overall!

This was one of the top three vacations of my life, and I've been lucky enough to go on many holidays over my 65 years. From the hotels we stayed at to the food at the resorts and the people at the resorts and in public, everything was perfect. 

We had a little snafu at the beginning when our flight was canceled and we ended up leaving 24 hours later, but that had nothing to do with the Zicasso travel company, and after one quick phone call, the itinerary was adjusted to our new day and time of arrival. 

Drivers met us at hotels and airports when they were supposed to, hotel rooms were available and ready when they should have been, and our organized trips went off like a dream. A helicopter tour of one of the islands was canceled due to the airport being closed and we received a refund within days of our return. 

The resorts in Bora Bora and Taha'a were particularly nice; great choices!!
