Across the city, lesser known establishments will serve up the city’s unique style of seafood along with a Japanese-Peruvian fusion known as Nikkei. It is almost a shame you will only have one dinner here because Lima is worth visiting just for the food. Still, one dinner means nearly a dozen courses. After an airport transfer, you will check into your Miraflores hotel, which is located in Lima’s most upmarket neighborhood. Transfers will take you to and from the restaurant, and simply having reservations there is part of the exclusivity offered by this ten-day tour.

Machu Picchu, Cusco, the Amazon Rainforest, the remote Andean mountains, and Lake Titicaca will all mystify you with their grandeur. Peru also has a few surprises and amorous extras that create very private memories, such as a traditional Shaman ceremony at Incan ruins besides Machu Picchu. This is a country that is more romantic than most, and this handcrafted tour will take you to all the idyllic places, culminating in a romantic, three-day cruise through the Amazon Rainforest.
Fly in to the country’s capital Lima, where this private tour begins with a classic experience. The city’s fine dining is internationally revered, and you will have exclusive dinner reservations at one of the world’s top ten restaurants. After a short city tour on day two, you will fly to Lake Titicaca, which is the world’s highest navigable lake. You can take some cocktails to the waterside and dance beneath the southern stars before spending day three on a private boat trip to floating islands. It is remote and redolent out here, and there are many glorious places to get lost in each other’s company.
From the lake you will fly directly to Cusco, where an afternoon city tour will showcase colonial churches, Incan fortresses, and cobbled charm. Rest up in a city spa that evening, and then travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas on day five. There is so much to a day here, and you will end in Ollantaytambo, which is tucked away in a quiet mountain valley. Rumbling downhill, a train will take you to Machu Picchu, where your experience will begin far away from the crowds. You can even join a shaman for a traditional vows ceremony on a misty mountain slopes besides the Lost City. It is a unique experience in the most otherworldly of settings.
After the ceremony you can explore Machu Picchu at your leisure on day six. You will then return to the Lost City at sunrise on day seven, this time on a privately guided tour. After taking the luxurious Harry Bingham train back to Cusco, there will be time to see more highlights of the Incan capital, as well as having another dip in the spa. Then, it is off to the Amazon for an early morning flight to Iquitos before you cruise into the jungle.
