Japan Cherry Blossom Travel Guide

Zicasso's travel company was fantastic to work with on planning the details of our first trip to Japan. We elected to stay in boutique hotels and enjoy private family experiences, including hiking, touring, knife making, and cooking, and our travel specialist was able to create a fabulous itinerary for us. Particular highlights included our guide up Mount Fuji, the master knife maker, and our cooking experience with a chef. We also especially loved our hotel in Kyoto.

Our trip was well-organized and well-planned!

We loved the color-coded tour organizer we received upon arrival and receiving funded IC cards for the subway was very helpful. The hotel selections were excellent, with centrally located, well-appointed oases in the big cities and an outstanding ryokan in Hakone. Our guides were very informative and Zicasso's travel specialist and his team had clearly communicated our preferences to them.

The materials the travel company sent prior to our arrival were also really helpful. It was great having travel apps downloaded and ready to go prior to arrival. We had a phenomenal time in Japan and the trip was seamless and tailored to us, thanks to the travel company!

Overall, our experiences with Zicasso’s tour operator for our 15-day trip to Japan were excellent. Communication with our travel agent was very good. The outcome of our full itinerary was very good. All recommended activities and sights were very good and only a couple of many we would have left out. We did have a couple of hiccups that the tour operator resolved quickly.
