My wife and I decided to go to Switzerland, but didn’t feel like doing all of the necessary planning and legwork it typically requires for what turned out to be a three-week trip to Switzerland. A friend had used Zicasso, so we decided to try them out.

One of the travel agents they recommended was our chosen travel agency. Our agent quickly reached out to us and we discussed how best to see Switzerland’s remarkable beauty. We concluded that three weeks would address our desire to be in less of a rush, as well as avoid having to constantly re-pack and move on to the next spot.

We usually rent a car, but our agent assured us that the Swiss rail system would be best, and boy, was he right. We’ve never seen such an amazing network of transportation. He pointed out that our best tool for transportation would be the SBB app, which we downloaded and he demoed with us in a Facetime call. This turned out to be an incredible and indispensable application. It is so well thought out, easy to use, and always accurate.

We traveled all over, from Luzern to St. Moritz to Montreux to Bern, Zurich, etc. All hotels were top-notch. We were not looking for five-star lodging, but wanted luxury, comfort, wonderful views, and good service. All needs were checked. Our last hotel was in farmland, surrounded by magnificent mountains and with wonderful staff to help us with the local area. Also, the hotel was a treat, with crazy good surroundings.

Our travel company did a great job assisting us with the overall planning. We know from experience with our own planning of trips how difficult it is and they did a flawless job in choosing hotels, making reservations, pinpointing when and where to catch transportation, how to get to the hotels upon arrival, scheduling a limo service when necessary, and packaging everything into a nice, tidy package in perfect sequence of the trip. We only had to chat with our agent a couple of times and he was available immediately. Kudos to our travel team for a very professional service.

Our trip was absolutely wonderful. From the time I contacted Zicasso to the last day of our trip, everything was wonderful. Our tour company and agents were very responsive and accommodated my every request. Our agent was very patient with me and put together a wonderful itinerary!

Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. He went over and above in showing us around and taking care of all our needs. Even when we changed up our plans at the last minute, it did not faze him at all and he made sure our requests were taken care of.

We really appreciated the responsiveness to the inevitable glitches that occur with multi-city travel. We always had a phone number to call and got a timely and helpful response.

The drivers were always prompt and professional.

The guides were universally well-informed and accommodating of our preferences.

The hotels were well chosen. The outstanding property was in Aix-en-Provence. The most disappointing was the hotel in Nice. The location was great, but the room was beyond small and the balcony didn’t compensate for the claustrophobic feel.

The Zicasso travel agent was amazing throughout the planning and execution of the trip. He has spent significant time in the area where we traveled, so we got a local's perspective on activities, restaurants, and lodging. He remained with us by phone and text the entire time we were traveling, so we knew we had backup if anything went wrong. Of course, nothing did go wrong, but it was awesome to know he was there.

We had some unusual requirements for the trip, but our agent was able to deliver everything we wanted and more. It was very personalized at every step. Also, with his military and travel background, he was a very interesting guy to talk to. I would strongly recommend him to anyone interested in seeing the best of Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.

I can't say enough amazing things about working with Zicasso's travel partners! They met and exceeded all of our expectations as they helped my wife and I plan our dream honeymoon to London and Croatia in June. What a great trip! Zicasso’s tour operator and her people laid out everything so wonderfully! They were with us every step of the way. From great tours to fantastic restaurants to top-notch hotels, they planned all of it to perfection. They even had the trains planned, including the switch in Paris from one station to the other.

We absolutely loved our trip. All the private drivers were exceptional. All but one of the hotels were excellent; we were only there one night! We had issues with check-in and check-out, and our travel company handled it quickly and efficiently, relieving us of the stress! I could not have anticipated or expected that quick and efficient response.

The private tour guide you selected was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience he provided and the facts about the country.
