I can't say enough amazing things about working with Zicasso's travel partners! They met and exceeded all of our expectations as they helped my wife and I plan our dream honeymoon to London and Croatia in June. They were there every step of the way and left no stone unturned regarding coordination, communication, and execution. From the beginning, their team asked thoughtful and in-depth questions to really learn about the things we would like to do, while giving their honest opinion on any idea we had. All of their third-party travel partners, who assisted us along the way in each location, were also amazing. The Zicasso travel agent was amazing throughout the planning and execution of the trip. He has spent significant time in the area where we traveled, so we got a local's perspective on activities, restaurants, and lodging. He remained with us by phone and text the entire time we were traveling, so we knew we had backup if anything went wrong. Of course, nothing did go wrong, but it was awesome to know he was there.

We had some unusual requirements for the trip, but our agent was able to deliver everything we wanted and more. It was very personalized at every step. Also, with his military and travel background, he was a very interesting guy to talk to. I would strongly recommend him to anyone interested in seeing the best of Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.

This was one of the top three vacations of my life, and I've been lucky enough to go on many holidays over my 65 years. From the hotels we stayed at to the food at the resorts and the people at the resorts and in public, everything was perfect. 

We had a little snafu at the beginning when our flight was canceled and we ended up leaving 24 hours later, but that had nothing to do with the Zicasso travel company, and after one quick phone call, the itinerary was adjusted to our new day and time of arrival. 

Drivers met us at hotels and airports when they were supposed to, hotel rooms were available and ready when they should have been, and our organized trips went off like a dream. A helicopter tour of one of the islands was canceled due to the airport being closed and we received a refund within days of our return. 

The resorts in Bora Bora and Taha'a were particularly nice; great choices!!

Our recent trip to Venice, Slovenia, and Croatia was fantastic. The itinerary set up for us (four adults) by Zicasso's travel partner flowed seamlessly. Each of the drivers we had to take us to our various destinations was professional, prompt, and helpful. The cars – or actually minivans – were clean, comfortable, and roomy. We liked all of the hotels, but particularly the hotels in Bled, Rovinj, and Split. These three hotels each had spectacular settings, as well as very helpful and accommodating staff members.

The real “stars” of our trip, however, were the tour guides! They all were outstanding! They were friendly, professional, and possessed a depth of knowledge. Each woman was a resident of the local area and very passionate about their city/country and happy to share historical information, as well as personal stories about their hometowns!

We also would like to recognize one of our agents from the travel office. She came through for us when we had to reschedule a flight at the last minute and, therefore, had to change the transfer time from our hotel to the airport. We made a quick call to her and she was able to get a driver to our hotel in an hour!

The trip was a very memorable experience for our entire group. The Zicasso tour company provided an excellent variety of experiences and tour options. We provided an outline and what our expectations were for the trip and the company not only met, but exceeded our expectations.

Our private driver and guide was available at all times, always on time, and engaging and knowledgeable about all our destinations. There was also a time when we ventured out on our own and were rescued from a rainstorm when we were faced with walking to our hotel in the rain without proper gear. Our driver was a pleasure to have as our host and we felt well taken care of throughout the trip. We were sad to say goodbye at the end of the trip.

One word... outstanding! From my first contact with our Zicasso travel agent saying he would be happy to help us plan our trip to receiving our travel documents, he was exceptional. When he first reached out, I shared the purpose of visiting Germany from America was to attend our granddaughter's baptism with family. The purpose was not a trip of a lifetime, but we were interested in adding side trips and shared our interests. He created a perfect itinerary. Our trip included Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Nuremberg, and Munich, with transport, hotels, which were always in the perfect spot, and amazing things to do, with interesting tours and wonderful guides.

Our travel partner was always easy to get a hold of, with a quick response. There was great collaboration and great ideas. We may not have intended it to be a trip of a lifetime, but it turned out that it was! He started as a travel advisor and agent, and ended as a friend.

The hotels were well chosen. The outstanding property was in Aix-en-Provence. The most disappointing was the hotel in Nice. The location was great, but the room was beyond small and the balcony didn’t compensate for the claustrophobic feel.

Our three-week winter escapade to France, Switzerland, and Austria was nothing short of a magical journey through some of the most enchanting winter wonderlands Europe has to offer. From the romance of horse-drawn carriage rides to the charm of bustling Christmas markets, every moment was incredible.

France: A Parisian Winter Dream

We began our adventure in Paris, the City of Lights, which becomes even more captivating during the winter. The Eiffel Tower sparkled against the night sky and Paris offered a blend of elegance and festive cheer that set the perfect tone for the rest of our trip.

Another highlight was our visit to Colmar, a charming Alsace town that felt like stepping into a storybook. Its cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses, and magical Christmas market made it an unforgettable experience, with festive lights and holiday spirit around every corner.

Switzerland: A Snow-Capped Wonderland

Next, we ventured to Switzerland, where the true magic of winter revealed itself. The highlight was our trip to Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe." The journey up was as breathtaking as the destination itself, with panoramic views of snow-draped peaks and charming alpine villages. Once at Jungfraujoch, we were mesmerized by the endless expanse of snow and ice.

Equally unforgettable was our visit to First Mountain. The crisp air, thrilling walk, and ziplining added an adventurous touch. The view from the suspension bridge, with the mountains stretching endlessly into the horizon, was a sight that will forever be etched in our memories.

We also had the thrill of dog sledding near the Matterhorn. Gliding across snowy trails with a team of eager huskies was an exhilarating and unique way to experience the majestic mountain landscapes.

Austria: A Symphony of Tradition and Festivity

Our final stop was Austria, where the Christmas spirit was alive in every corner. The Vienna Christmas Market was a dream come true, with its illuminated stalls offering everything from handcrafted ornaments to mouthwatering strudels and mulled wine. Salzburg, with its Baroque architecture and snow-dusted rooftops, felt like stepping into a fairy tale. We also attended a classical music performance that added a touch of cultural richness to our holiday.

To top it off, we enjoyed a cozy, horse-drawn carriage ride through a picturesque Austrian village. Wrapped in warm blankets, we listened to the rhythmic clopping of hooves as we glided past snow-covered chalets and twinkling lights – a truly enchanting experience!

The entire trip was a seamless blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and festive joy. Each destination brought its own unique charm, leaving us with unforgettable memories of twinkling lights, snowy peaks, and the warm glow of holiday cheer. Winter in Europe is truly a season to behold and this journey was nothing short of spectacular.
