Buenos Aires - City of Style and Luxury

Buenos Aires marches to the beat of the tango. The pulse of the city is captivating at all hours of the day. The 47 barrios (neighborhoods) have their own distinct personalities that have grown and evolved with the traditions of the culture. The city was founded in the 16th century by Spanish conquistadors and maintains a connection to its European roots, seamlessly blending with Latin American flair. Your private transfer greets you at Ministro Pistarini International Airport upon your arrival in the city. You easily settle into the comforts of your hotel situated in the charming neighborhood of Recoleta. Trees with emerald leaves shade the wide avenues.

Locals, known as porteños, sit in cafes sipping a glass of wine and watching passersby. The stunning former theater of El Ateneo Grand Splendid now houses a celebrated bookshop and coffee house. Tables stand on the former stage and books wrap around the upper balconies. Various antique shops fill the streets of Defensa in the historic neighborhood of San Telmo. Window displays create a Bohemian ambiance, depicting vintage clothing and hand carved tables and chairs. People stroll along Plaza de Mayo, the central square bordered by the pink façade of the Presidential Mansion, referred to locally as the Casa Rosada. The structure was erected in the 19th century, but the plaza was founded in the 16th century, making it one of the oldest squares in the city. The city moves quickly and highlights its captivating qualities around every corner. My trip was an incredible adventure, which I feel fortunate to have experienced. The excursions were well chosen and hotels outstanding. I had a support network that allowed me to totally enjoy the beautiful and diverse environments, cultures, and activities.

Argentina Tour Review: Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Bariloche, El Calafate, El Chalten, 2 Weeks

We take great pleasure in saying our Patagonian adventure through Zicasso and the tour operator was near perfect. Our sincere thanks to our travel specialist and everyone at the tour operator for the red-carpet treatment we received at every destination on our itinerary: namely Buenos Aires, Iguazú, Bariloche, El Calafate, and El Chalten. We commend everyone involved in the personalized communication, planning and execution of our two exciting weeks traveling throughout Argentina.

Beginning in December 2025, the travel specialist and his team worked out every detail of travel in Argentina's fall season: all our domestic flights, customized tours, airport transfers, and, most importantly, the most knowledgeable, engaging guides we could ever have imagined. We can't make enough positive comments about our first Patagonian adventure.

Every driver arrived promptly, putting us immediately at ease. Every evening, team members messaged us on WhatsApp to remind us of the next day's transfers and tours. They followed up immediately with answers to any questions we had.

All of our guides were exceptional. Their passion and depth of knowledge made our tours more fascinating and entertaining than any we've ever experienced. We could not have planned anything remotely close to the guides the tour operator included for each tour.

We will most assuredly utilize the services of the travel specialist at the best tour company we have ever found for adventures in South America.

Argentina, Chile, Uruguay Trip Review: Iguazu, Buenos Aires, El Chalten, Calafate, Puerto Natales, Santiago, Colonia de Sacramento, Valparaiso, Vina del Mar, Torres del Paine, Iguazu Falls, Boat Ride, Trekking, 3 Weeks

Our trip was fabulous. Based on my general input of where we wanted to go and our time frames, Zicasso’s travel specialist crafted an itinerary that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The boutique hotels he arranged for us in Iguazú, Buenos Aires, El Chalten, Calafate, Puerto Natales, and Santiago were very nice and in walkable areas, with many nearby restaurants and stores.

The transfers to and from airports to hotels made us feel like VIPs, especially the first-class van ride from Calafate to Puerto Natales. Guides all had good command of English and were very knowledgeable and helpful, particularly in helping us get through immigration as we travelled between countries. A special shout-out to our guide in Buenos Aires and our guide in Santiago for going above and beyond.

Before, during, and after our three weeks in South America, our travel specialist stayed in touch via WhatsApp. He even met with us twice in person during the time we were in Buenos Aires. I highly recommend the tour company.
