Zicasso’s travel agent did an excellent job of listening to what we wanted to do and see on our trip, and making suggestions of places to visit. The restaurant suggestions were also very helpful. We had the perfect itinerary of scheduled tours and sightseeing that we could do on our own. The hotels were all very good and accommodated our "third person" well, with comfortable arrangements.

When we ran into bad weather and road closures, our travel agent was able to quickly find us an alternative hotel close to where we were located so we could take a break in driving.

This is the second time we have used Zicasso for a vacation. They do a wonderful job matching you to a travel agency.

Zicasso’s travel operator planned a fantastic trip. They had timed plans for us at the beginning, with suggestions for the afternoons so we wouldn’t feel rushed. We also found one of our spots was closed, and they worked with us to find a new time to make it work. The hotels and hikes were very well planned and we got to see and do all we dreamed of!

From start to finish, our travel agency was exceptional, efficient, timely, and very thoughtful. Zicasso’s travel agent worked with us from the beginning to plan our dream trip to Sweden and Swedish Lapland, filling every day with a lifetime of amazing experiences and memories. When an unanticipated glitch popped up, the travel team was quick to help problem-solve with kindness and expertise, resulting in an even better trip. We would recommend them to all our friends and family for a once-in-a-lifetime trip!

We just finished our trip to Iceland. From the very beginning, Adi from the travel agency was attentive to my ideas for our itinerary, while adding valuable insight into additional activities that would help to make a memorable experience.

We experienced it all. Snorkeling the fissure (with the best company. We didn't wear dry suits and were in the water the longest – I was hesitant, but I didn't need to be), walking the glacier, ATV riding (in some of the most beautiful areas), horseback riding, descending into a dormant volcano, and so much more. Small hikes, warm baths, and film sets rounded off the trip. 

I would be remiss if I didn't add that we had a great guide. He made sure everything ran smoothly. When the weather caused whale watching to be canceled, he immediately went into plan B mode. He was easygoing and made sure we were where we needed to be when we needed to be there. He was friendly and answered all our questions. When our son was stuck in Iceland after our trip ended, he reached out to see if he could help. As a side note, we were promptly refunded for the whale watching which was canceled.

This is a top-notch company. I will use them again when we come back for the Northern Lights. I highly recommend them.

Our Zicasso travel partner listened to our preferences and needs, and helped design a fabulous trip for our family. Transportation was flawless throughout the trip and the local guides were wonderful. We enjoyed getting to know them personally and learning about their hometowns.

I especially valued the app that provided us with every detail for each day, including emergency contacts, hotel information, and itinerary. Thank you!

I will discuss the experience in phases. The experience itself was overall a five, but only due to the service provided once there.

Booking and presale: Communication was great. I worked with Kjartan directly and he provided lots of information. Pricing came quickly and there were reminders to book due to things selling out.

Once booked, communication slowed to a crawl. We did not get a complete itinerary until a day before we left. Part of this delay was because we were waiting on a cancellation to book our final hotel, but it was stressful. I was told, "Don't worry, I have it taken care of", which held zero weight when I hadn't met the person in person. I asked direct questions that were not answered directly for days to a week. I feared making the final payment, feeling like we may have been scammed with our down payment. The only thing that made me feel secure was that it was through Zicasso and they would back their agents/tours. I was given the WhatsApp of our tour guide and information about what happens at pick-up only after I asked for it. Ahhhh!

Arrival: In a complete turn of events, the rest of the trip was bliss. Our guide and Kjartan showed us all the majestic beauty of Iceland. They accommodated every request and suggested things when we were noncommittal. Our guide became a part of our family on the trip. We sang songs, went out to dinner, and took endless photos and videos together. She could not have been more kind, welcoming, and gracious. Our three-year-old son fell madly in love with her and she and him created a special bond. Our tour could not have been better, with times being booked and times of rest. We always felt like our guide would take care of us. I could not be more thankful for her.

Overall: I would highly recommend this travel company to friends/family, but push for what you need prior to the visit.

I had the pleasure of having Harpa as my travel specialist. This was my very first solo international trip and I was extremely happy with Harpa's knowledge of Iceland. She designed the perfect trip. I explained to her my interests and the things I wanted to do. Harpa was very attentive to all my questions and concerns. I really appreciated her checking in on me while I was there. I couldn't have done this trip without Harpa.

This was the first time I'd used a travel agency and it was money well spent! There is so much to do in Iceland and I felt overwhelmed when trying to plan myself.

Providing the agency with our budget and being able to not stress about planning was amazing! Our week-long trip was perfectly smooth and we were able to see and do so much!

The last day of the trip was my favorite, when we did an extreme lava cave tour (totally wouldn’t have picked this on my own) and saw the Northern Lights in all their glory from a yacht!

We would definitely recommend Zicasso’s agency and when I plan my next trip, I will see if they can assist me again.
