This was a perfect mother-daughter trip at the right time of year to avoid crowds. All of our drivers and tour guides were awesome! The accommodations were likewise wonderful. Communication with our tour company was great and any last-minute changes were taken care of, so we had no worries. We had nearly daily contact from the company, whose staff checked in with us before and during our trip.

Our itinerary had a good balance of planned activities and free time, with lots of good suggestions from our tour guides. The company worked cooperatively with us in planning and replanning our itinerary over the course of nearly nine months! So flexible!

This is the fourth trip we've booked with a Zicasso travel agent and it was another success. We worked with our travel team and could not be happier with the experience.

We had originally planned a Croatia-only trip, but expanded it to include Slovenia and day trips to Bosnia Herzegovina (BH) and Montenegro. These were areas we had no experience with and relied on our travel team's recommendations. There are several aspects to a successful trip: locations, hotels, activities, and organization, and all were well planned.

First, we are so glad we added the three countries, especially Slovenia, which was spectacular. Every hotel was great and in line with what we like. In addition, the room choices were good, with upgrades to suites and rooms with views and great balconies.

Ours was a two-week trip with activities scheduled for almost every day, including guides and five wine tastings. Every guide was fantastic and the wine visits amazing. We were especially surprised and delighted by the high-end and modern winery in Mostar, BH. The area’s wines are very good.

Every aspect of the trip was organized. Our agent sent me 37 different vouchers for each of our hotels, drivers, guides, and activities. I can't recommend her enough.

After looking through multiple travel and tour companies for a private trip, we picked this travel company. From the very start, Natasa responded to each and every email and question that we threw at her. We packed in a lot of excursions and activities as we wanted to experience as much as we could. The follow-through and attention to detail were apparent from the start, and we immediately felt terrific with our choice.

We stayed in three locations while visiting and had multiple excursions planned. With each and every event, the travel agency was there to guide us with transportation, along with friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and passionate guides. I can’t say enough about the planning that went into our trip and the level of service we received.

To our surprise and delight, Natasa even made it a point to meet up with us just before we left for the airport to head home. Our trip was made that much more special by the personal touches and outstanding service along the way. We would highly recommend this travel agency when visiting this beautiful, vibrant country. The agent from Zicasso’s travel partner helped me fashion a 16-day tour of Slovenia and Croatia.

As requested, the activities were wide-ranging, from the usual city tours to adventurous excursions such as rafting, kayaking, biking, etc. There were many special events, such as truffle hunting, a cooking class, and wine/meal pairings.

Cities, towns, and countryside were mixed in. The places we visited were beautiful and scenic, including national parks, caverns, and hiking in the mountains. The hotels were excellent and the guides and drivers were professional and knowledgeable.

Our trip had everything. Our agent definitely knows her business and provided five-star service. She was available 24/7 and very prompt in responding to our needs and questions. When in Split, her home base, she came to the hotel to meet us in person, which was a nice touch.

I would strongly recommend her and her agency.

I cannot recommend our Zicasso travel agent and her company enough. From the initial email and consultation to our farewell dinner, she provided a completely lovely experience.

My group and I had a very specific idea of what we wanted our trip to be – focused on visiting archaeological sites and museums from Zagreb down to Dubrovnik – and every expectation was met and exceeded. Not only did our agent work closely with me to make the trip accessible to our eclectic group (we had travelers aged between 25 and 65), but she found us an excellent local guide and wonderful driver who couldn't have been more perfect for us. When an obstacle showed up, our guide and travel agent successfully navigated everything and found alternatives that turned out to be more interesting and fun than what I originally imagined.

Specifics: I reached out to our agent with an already partially formed itinerary and she provided several versions of a quote and made various changes according to my requests.

Our group started in Zagreb, then spent nine days traveling south until we reached Dubrovnik. We spent time in Zadar, Šibenik, Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik, and stopped at various archaeological sites, museums, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and national parks. Our travel agent booked us a small bus and we were shuttled to and from our hotel every morning/night. All of the accommodations were comfortable and well located, and we had the option of airport transfers at the start and end of our trip.

I truly cannot think of any aspect of our trip that I would have changed or critiqued. I just wish our trip had been longer!
