New Zealand Trip Review: Two Weeks

I appreciated the initial planning conversations and the booking of hotels, car, and activities. Zicasso’s tour operator helped us plan and book excursions on both islands with the limited budget and two weeks we had for travel.

There were a few times during the travel that we would have liked an update on things. For example, the cancelation of a hotel meal and the need for paid parking at a hotel. There were several instances that we were unable to make a scheduled booking, including an early return of a rental car. We are still unclear as to whether a refund or some other travel credit is due to us. We felt one hotel was a little below the standard of the others. It was a bit dated and had many busses of large tourist groups. On the other hand, the bed and breakfast was an unexpected delight and exceptionally nice.

Overall, I was very pleased with the travel and I appreciated our travel agent and the staff at his company.
