Travel Review: Road Trip through New Zealand's North & South Islands, Farm Stay

Regrettably, the days were short because it was winter. We occasionally arrived for a one night stay at a location as dark was approaching (5:30pm) and we left early ( 7:30 am) so we did not get to see much of the place.  That said, we loved going in the winter because it wasn't crowed and we all live in the southern part of the USA. It was a joy to have cool weather in June and July. I would probably move the travel dates to early May, just to add some daylight hours.
