Luxury Italy Vacation Review: Florence, Venice, Tuscany, Siena, Assisi, Peggy Guggenheim Collection

My friend and I travel a lot.  Sometimes on tours and sometimes just the two of us.  This was by far our best non-tour trip.  I gave our agent our budget and the places where we wanted to hit.  Also told her we like to stay at 4 and 5 star places and wanted tour guides at certain venues.  She complied with my wish list and did a splendid job.  The hotels/villas that we stayed at were outstanding.  The guides she arranged in Venice and Florence were terrific.  We travelled for two weeks but our agent outlined a plan that enabled us to do everything we were hoping to do but also have enough down time that we came home relaxed and not exhausted.
