Italy Vacation Review: Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Rome

Our time in Italy was fabulous. It was stress-free having all travel arrangements made for us. The drivers were always prompt to pick us up from the train stations and hotels. Our driver in Sorrento was especially enjoyable. His English-speaking skills were most appreciated, as was his commentary on the sights and culture of the Sorrento area. 

We were particularly pleased with the hotel arrangements in Rome. The Hotel Splendide Royale was phenomenal. We were disappointed in the room at Parco dei Principi in Sorrento, specifically the starkness of the room, the below-average shower, and the tile floors which were exceptionally noisy. It's distance from town was also disappointing.  However, the view from our private patio nearly compensated for the previously mentioned conditions.
